Meet Hayley
Growing up on a farm in rural New South Wales, Australia, my childhood was steeped in the beauty of nature and the companionship of animals. These surroundings deeply inspired and influenced me from an early age.
I was fortunate to have an artist as a neighbor, who nurtured my innate talent and passion for art. Encouraged by their support, I dreamt of becoming an artist after high school. However, societal expectations led me to believe that this dream was unattainable. Unsure of my path, I found myself working in retail.
For several years, I toiled in retail, supporting my then-boyfriend in achieving his dreams. The monotony of a 9-to-5 job took its toll, and I struggled with depression, feeling disconnected from my true self and creative desires.
A turning point came when a friend asked me to paint a portrait of their beloved dog, Olli. As I worked on the piece, I felt my depression lift and my dreams reignite. But just as my excitement was peaking, my relationship ended. The person I had supported and loved deeply left me, sending me into a dark period of mourning.
However, after months of healing, I made a pivotal decision to leave my retail job, seek help for my depression, and fully immerse myself in my art. This decision was transformative, bringing true happiness to my soul.
I love nothing more than capturing the unique personality and spirit of your pets, creating a timeless piece of art that you'll treasure forever.
Today, I'm more excited than ever about the growth of my business and the journey ahead. I am profoundly thankful for everyone who supports my art, from every customer to each encouraging comment. Your support means the world to me.
I am thrilled every time a client tells me how much they love the portrait of their beloved pets.
